BCE receives the Oenovideo award for the best short film with the video clip “Is it true what they say about Luxembourg?”
The 17th Oenovideo international grape and wine film festival has just ended. From 13 to 16 May, festival attendants saw 29 films in competition from 17 countries.
After the screenings, 11 films were recognised by the Grand Jury chaired by Edouard Molinaro, the partner juries and the public. The films, both fictions and documentaries, illustrate the creativity that flows when cinema, the grapevine and wine meet.
The 2010 awards list confirms the festival’s international character, with awards going to productions from the USA, Spain, France, Luxembourg, New Zealand and Switzerland.
“I learned much about the life and passions from the vintners, the spirit of the wine… I was very touched by certain films,” says Edouard Molinaro, president of the Grand Jury Oenovideo 2010 (Midi Libre Tuesday 18/05/2010).
