Broadcasting Center Europe (BCE) announced it has become a Certified Widevine Implementation Partner for both Video on Demand and streaming. This allows BCE to provide to its customers a complete solution for digital rights management (DRM) on top of web hosting and service management.

With Google’s Widevine, BCE will add support for one of the most widely deployed DRM solutions in the market, which, according to Widevine, reaches more than 539 million devices, including more than 284 million televisions, Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, and game consoles.
