RTL Group and CBS Studios International, the leading supplier of programming to the international television marketplace, launched the channel RTL CBS Entertainment HD on the 1st September 2013.

It will be followed by RTL CBS Extreme HD in spring 2014. Both channels will be available in English and local languages in up to 29 Asian markets including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

BCE, which holds a complete broadcast platform for multiple channel management and playout, was selected for the operations and continuity of the Asian channels.

BCE covers the complete value chain from content management to playout including all channel management software and Telecom lines.

As a result, BCE is managing the content and creates the programs and playlist with its Broadcast IT solutions, Athena, Cronos and Adonis. Thanks to its multi-playout platform, BCE is able to manage the playout of the two channels in high definition with the integration of subtitles in multiple languages. The Telecom and IT team oversees the distribution of the signals through the telecom lines.
