Magic Movies, a member of Côte Ouest group, has chosen BCE’s Cloud traffic solution for its channels broadcast in Africa.

Côte Ouest is an independent African company, with a leading position in the distribution of audiovisual content in Africa. Operating since 1993, the company owns a network which spreads across the continent as well as in Mauritius.

Magic Movies was looking for a solution for its two channels broadcast across Africa (English and French markets). The company was looking for a solution which would be easy to implement in their workflow with numerous features including the management of the running order, broadcast design, the EPG (Electronic Program Guide), the broadcast play-lists and reports.

Theos, based on a cloud infrastructure, suited all their expectations but also covered security matters while matching their budget.

With the perfect collaboration between teams, BCE’s expertise and advice helped to quickly adapt the solution to the new channels environment and ensure the transition of the French channels within a limited time frame.
