ThinkSport has selected BCE’s SaaS StudioTalk for the coverage of their new flagship event, THE SPOT, taking place in Lausanne on the 15 and 16 May 2018.
ThinkSport, the first network that brings together the variety of sports-related expertise and excellence in order to facilitate new partnerships, knowledge sharing, creative thinking and innovative projects, has selected BCE, the European leader in media services, system integration and software development in the areas of television, radio, production and postproduction, telecommunication and IT, for the coverage of THE SPOT with the SaaS (Solution as a Service) StudioTalk.

Anna Hellman, Director of ThinkSport said: “We were looking for a solution to record interviews with our delegates, speakers and partners in an easy, but professional way. StudioTalk is the perfect solution with a user-friendly platform and an intuitive interface.”

StudioTalk is an all-in-one production solution from BCE. It can be used in a variety of configurations, such as visual radio (recently installed at RTL Radio and FunRadio in France), shows, production and event coverage. Much more than a production platform, the solution manages the branding and sets of the studio, but also the distribution to multiple screens for both linear and non-linear TV.
“Thanks to the auto-production mode, we will be able to have broadcast quality interviews in a ready-to-stream format. We will post our videos on our website and in other channels”, explains Anna Hellman.

The solution will be deployed at the SwissTech Convention Center on a dedicated space with multiple angle cameras. The ThinkSport team was in direct contact with BCE in order to create the sets templates which will appear on the branding screens of the ephemeral studio.
While ThinkSport will be able to manage the complete solution thanks to an intuitive user interface, BCE will provide technical support during the complete event in order to ensure the best use of the solution and enhance ThinkSport communications during the event.
“We are glad to support THE SPOT with our solution StudioTalk. Thanks to its portability and easy setup, the solution can be swiftly configured and ready to produce and broadcast content” explains Olivier Waty, Technology and Projects Director at BCE.

THE SPOT will take place at the Swisstech Convention Center in Lausanne (Switzerland) on the 15 and 16 May 2018. While BCE will cover the event with StudioTalk, BCE will also present its recent projects in digitisation, archiving, distribution, monetization and live over IP for the sports industry.
